Ididathing is a personal counter and habit-tracking app. Your privacy matters, and the app is designed to keep your data on your device.
All of your counters, events, and settings are stored locally on your device using IndexedDB within the app's WebView. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server. If you delete the app, this data is permanently erased.
The app uses PostHog to collect anonymous usage analytics. This helps us understand how the app is used and improve it over time. The following data is collected:
Analytics data does not include your counter names, event timestamps, or any content you create in the app. No personal information such as your name, email address, or location is collected.
PostHog is the only third-party service used. Their privacy policy is available at posthog.com/privacy.
The app does not require or support user accounts, sign-in, or any form of authentication. There is no way to associate analytics data with your identity.
The app does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
